1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the Cheda Services provided by Radtak LLC ("we," "us," "our"). It supplements our Terms of Use. By using the Services, you and your organization ("you," "Customer") agree to this AUP. We may update it as our Services and the law evolve. Violations may result in suspension or termination and, where appropriate, referral to authorities.
2. General prohibited uses
You may not use the Services to:
- Break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe anyone's rights (including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights).
- Upload or distribute malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems or networks.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services, including through excessive automated requests, scraping, or denial-of-service activity.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law.
- Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Use the Services to harass, abuse, defame, threaten, or harm others.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties except as expressly permitted.
3. Content standards
Content you submit, store, or transmit through the Services (including member records, messages, forms, and media) must not be unlawful, obscene, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or otherwise objectionable, and must not include content that sexualizes or endangers minors. You are responsible for having the rights and any required consents for the content and personal information you enter.
4. Messaging: SMS and email (important)
Cheda lets you send SMS (via Twilio) and email (via Resend) to your congregation and teams. To protect deliverability and keep Cheda compliant with carrier rules and anti-spam laws, you agree that:
- Consent. You will only message recipients who have given the consent required by applicable law (including the TCPA for SMS and CAN-SPAM for email). You are responsible for obtaining, recording, and honoring that consent.
- Opt-out. You will honor opt-out requests promptly. You will not remove, disable, or interfere with STOP/unsubscribe handling.
- No prohibited content. You will not send messages in carrier-prohibited categories (for example, unlawful, deceptive, or high-risk financial, or other content disallowed by A2P/10DLC rules).
- Accuracy. You will not use false or misleading sender information, subject lines, or routing.
- Volume and purpose. You will use messaging for legitimate ministry communications consistent with the consent you obtained, not for unsolicited bulk messaging (spam).
You are the sender of record for messages you originate through the Services and are responsible for their content and for compliance with carrier and legal requirements. We may suspend messaging features if your use threatens our or our providers' compliance or deliverability.
5. AI features (RadAI)
RadAI and other AI features are tools to assist your work, not a substitute for human judgment. You agree to:
- Review AI-generated content (messages, drafts, transcriptions, summaries) before relying on or sending it; AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete.
- Not use AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or harmful content, or to attempt to bypass safety controls of our AI providers.
- Not represent AI-generated content as authoritative pastoral, legal, financial, or medical advice.
6. Security and data
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity under your account. Do not attempt to access data that does not belong to your organization. Report suspected vulnerabilities or breaches to us promptly at support@cheda.ai.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other action we consider appropriate, with or without notice. We are not liable for actions taken in good faith to enforce this AUP. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.
